| Details on how to use our stationery with Outlook
98/2000/2002/XP
********************** An Explorer window opens showing
the contents of your stationery directory; choose the stationery you would like to use
(you will see a small preview when you click a stationery file). Click "OK"
to select the stationery you want and your compose window will open showing the stationery
in the background. It will not be scrolling at this point. Type your message as you
normally would and send it. If you want to see it scrolling you can now view it in your
"Outbox" (while it's sending) or in your "Sent" folder after the email
has finished sending. Note: You cannot use the Advanced option download with Outlook because Outlook does not allow the user to browse to different directories (folders). Advanced is the same as standard, except Advanced puts each individual collection into its own folder for ease in use and identification. Note: If you installed the Outlook security patch that restricts scripting, your stationery will not scroll. We use VbScripting for the scroll. You will have to contact Microsoft for information on how to re-enable the ability for VbScripting. We do not offer support on this. Sound will not embed in Outlook . The same sound issues that effect Outlook Express 4.72 affect Outlook . For more information on this, click here. Also, while all of our stationery has preset font (text) colors to contrast with the background color of the stationer you have chosen, those using Outlook may have to set their color as Outlook settings differ from Outlook Express.
Attention Outlook users! If you are not going through a pop 3 mail service to use your Outlook and are instead going through a LAN (Internet Mail Service) you will see either red "x" or the stationery will not scroll properly and it will be sent as an attachment. Our stationery only works with and is designed for the Outlook and Outlook Express programs when they are set at their default settings with default pop3 (the Internet Standard) mail protocol. Internet Mail Service is a LAN mail server and it does not provide support for VBScript which is used to make our stationery scroll. Also, remember, you cannot use it with Outlook when using Outlook as a mail client for MsWord!
* AOL, Juno, Excite, Yahoo, MSN and other Users: Click here if you are NOT using Outlook or Outlook Express email! Incredimail users cannot use our email stationery. We are incompatible with iMac.
