Leave The Candle Burning

Leave the candle burning;
And let the fire glow;
Leave the oak tree standing
In the yard I used to know.

Leave the candle burning,
And fill my coffee cup:
Memories shine on
In that house where I grew up.

Leave the candle burning
Until I come home to you,
And gather there with family
And the love that I once knew.

Wishing we could be together for Thanksgiving.
