Easy-to-use CD - DVD Burning Software

All those of you who've been looking for a good CD/DVD burning program that's easy-to-use - and free, we have one for you. It's better than software you pay for and easier to use.

It used to be that Nero Burning Rom was the emperor of (no pun intended) CD/DVD burning software but it has long since suffered the fate of most of the old favorites - that affliction we call "Ye Olde Bloat". For some reason, Nero thinks its software need to be your music player, movie viewer, image viewer, bathtub cleaner and gardener and gee all you wanted it to do was make CDs and DVDs! Shame on you, you're so 90's.

We'll were so 90's too, because we think you shouldn't have pay $70.00 for CD/DVD burning software that installs 100MB of stuff on your computer that you not only don't need, but don't want either.

You want to burn CDs and DVDs - even BluRay disks - ImgBurn can do that for you - and do it free. It's easy-to-use which is almost as important as being free, isn't it?

Here take a look at ImgBurn's main window. How could it get much simpler than this? Do you need a help file to guide you through this - or do you think you could probably use it right out of the box - err we mean right after you download it and install it. It's not 100 MB, it's not 50 MB, it's not even 5 MB - it's less than 2MB - Nero are you listening or are you still fiddling while Rome burns?

Some of you have noticed the rather humorous by-line at the bottom of the program window above. NO! TC didn't stick that there - apparently the programmer likes to keep you smiling and that's not bad. But he didn't have to add humorous quotes to his software because you'll be smiling every time you use it because it works - and it's easy to use - and you didn't have to shell out a nickel for it. If you like it, the author accepts donations. They're not tax deductible, but they would be appreciated. It's not like he's asking a for a lot of money. He sort of mentions $2.00 on his site. But that's up to you. What's up to us is that we provide you with a useful Freeware Pick Of The Week - and, once again this week, we've been successful.

ImgBurn is CD/DVD burning software which is exactly what so many of you have been asking for. EB even asked for it too. I scuffed around the Web, installed a half a dozen CD/DVD burning programs and junked up my computers just for you, EB. But it was worth it because I found what you and so many of our readers wanted:  excellent, free, CD/DVD burning software.

The only thing left to do is tell you, officially, that ImgBurn is our Freeware Pick Of The Week this week. It's hot, it burns, it's great, it's free and you can learn more about ImgBurn and download it by visiting the author's non-aesthetic, but functional Web site. Now, burn baby burn!
