Windows All Versions - Gmail account
Many of you have Gmail accounts. If you're
like us, you're always discovering something new in Gmail that makes
using it even easier. With Gmail you can have your cake and eat it to.
Well, we mean, you can use Gmail while you're away from home by using it
on the Web (in the cloud, in the current vernacular) or use your Gmail
account with your favorite email program like Outlook Express or Windows
Mail by setting your Gmail account(s) up as you would set up the email
account(s) provided by your ISP.
For those of you holding out - that don't
yet have a gmail address, you can get one free at
www.gmail.com . It's free and it
works very well, both on the Web and in your favorite email program. You
have a choice.
One thing that most of you might not know,
is Gmail has some really handy shortcuts you can use when you're using
Gmail's Web interface. Shortcuts help save you time and once you learn
them you'll use them often.
Here are some Gmail shortcuts provided by
Google.

- From any label, 'y' means Remove the label
* 'y' has no effect if you're in 'Spam,' 'Sent,'

Automatically checks and
selects a conversation so that you can archive, apply a label,
or choose an action from the drop-down menu to apply to that
