Cloudeight Internet Jenni asks about accessing Yahoo Mail with
Outlook Express It appears that over the years the developer has decided to use annoying advertising on his site but we don't see anything threatening or malicious YPops and consider it safe to use. There's no evidence that YPops contains any spyware/adware or other malicious files therefore recommend it to anyone who would like to keep using their free Yahoo mail accounts but still be able to access their accounts with Outlook Express. YPops not only lets you retrieve mail from your free Yahoo account with Outlook Express, it also allows you to send mail from your Yahoo address with Outlook Express. YPops is the only way we know of, without buying a premium Yahoo account, that allows you to send and receive mail from your Yahoo address in in Outlook Express. The documentation for setting up YPops is fairly straight forward and almost anyone with some computer experience will be able to get YPops up and running in twenty minutes. For more information about and to download YPops visit http://www.ypopsemail.com/ . Words of caution: YPops is not listed as compatible with Windows Vista or Windows Mail and we have not tried it on Windows Vista or Windows Mail. We have tested it with Outlook Express 6 on Windows XP. YPops Web site claims that YPops works with several versions of Outlook but we have not tested it with Outlook either. If you use Vista and Windows Mail or Outlook, you're on your own! A suggestion: You should get a Gmail account at www.gmail.com and set it up in Outlook Express. You can start notifying your friends that you're changing email addresses. You can access both Yahoo and Gmail until you've notified all your contacts. Gmail is much more convenient and has many more options than Yahoo mail, even Yahoo mail accessed with YPops. Want to save 20% on some of the best software on the Internet? Keep reading!
