Lots
of folks are using Google Docs instead of Microsoft Office these days.
It's free. It's a cloud-based application, but alas we're in the age of
the cloud. Anyway, you can send spreadsheets, documents, and
presentations (ala PowerPoint) and preview them directly in email. Sender Time Zone - Shows the time zone of the sender. Should I reply to this mail or just call the guy? Ooops… it's 1 am. Sorry, I didn't mean to disturb… Undo Send -- Why you dirty so-and-so! Wait. I have a bad temper. I wish I wouldn't have sent that. Ever done that? Now you have a chance to take it back! Hit "Send" too soon? Stop messages from being sent for a few seconds after hitting the send button. All of the above gadgets can be enabled in your Gmail account by clicking the Google Labs icon (the green flask) at the very top of your Gmail account page. Login to your Gmail account and enable these or any of the other gadgets. There's a lot more nifty gadgets than these five! These are just some of our favorite ones. If you're one of the few who still doesn't have a Gmail account, you can get one free right here. If you're using Yahoo Mail or Hotmail (Live), Gmail is quite different. It takes some getting used to. We like it much better. We think you will too.
