There's a lot of stuff going on inside your computer you don't even think about. How hot would you guess the core of your computer's processor is? Mine was 182 degrees (F). How hot do you think your hard drives are? Mine are HOT! No, just kidding. Mine were running at about 102 degrees (F). To those of you who don't subscribe to American measurements - too bad. Get with the program. Kidding. My processor was running at 83.3 (C.)  and my hard drives were running at 38.8 (C.). Don't ask me why this feature of our freeware pick piqued my interest, but it did. It's not like SIW doesn't do more important things.

This small (1.5MB) program is a treasure trove of information. There is nothing, I mean nothing you cannot find out about your computer with this program. It will give you a complete inventory of software installed on your system. You'll be shocked. I found junk installed on here I don't even remember, let alone remember what the heck it does.

You can get a complete list of drivers, hardware, open PCI slots, RAM slots, max RAM per slot, and on and on and on. If you want to now everything about your computer and you don't feel like opening up your computer tower to peer into its dust-bunny laden guts, then this program is for you.

You could spend hours with this program - even days - learning every little nuance about your system. And I could spend hours twaddling on and on about it here - and many of you are afraid I will. But, I won't. I know you're tired of reading this already and I'm tried of twaddling. It's nearly 11:00PM and I'm beat.

Because I'm tired of writing this and you're tired of reading this, I'm going to turn it over to the developer of SIW (System Information for Windows) because, obviously, I can.
