Face it. We're all getting older and monitors are getting bigger. Text is getting smaller and our eyeballs are getting worser (and more bloodshot). So, since we have no viable alternative to getting older, we have to live with the way things are. That means you gotta be tough to get old, but you can make it easier by making things on the Web appear larger. If you're old like us, you can squint and try to make out the little text -or hope the old scroll-wheel text zoom works on the page you're viewing. If you just inebriated, and can't see clearly, it will work for you too, probably. So if your old or drunk, you'll probably love this program.

If you're one of those people that want to know why you can easily resize the text on some Web pages but not on others, here's the answer. Some Web sites use style sheets or remote style sheets to control the text size. So, on some Web pages using your mouse wheel or Internet Explorer's "Text Size" won't work because the size of the text is not easily reader-changeable. So, what are all us with elderly eyes supposed to do, grab a huge magnifying glass and peer at the tiny writing through it - and probably end up with throbbing headache? Not only would that make you look silly and make your head hurt too;  it wouldn't be necessary - if you grab this week's Freeware Pick Of The Week - EasyRead. Well, here. A little aside here. You will probably notice that the developer does not mention Windows Vista on his home page. But be assured we tested Easy Read on Vista and the developer does include Vista on his download page. Just wanted to clear that up for you.

Yeh, we know all about the scroll wheel trick to enlarge and reduce font size -but it doesn't work in framed pages or pages controlled by CSS (Style Sheets). But, Easy Read does.
