Sandy has a Dell computer and needs a new keyboard
Our answer All you have to do is unplug your old food-and-coffee stained keyboard, plug in your new keyboard and Windows (XP, Vista, or Windows 7) will detect it, and you can start typing away with only a few seconds delay. Just make sure you pick out a keyboard you're going to be happy with. Many newer keyboards have all kinds of features you may not want and/or will never use. So, if you're like us, and a standard no-frills keyboard works best for you - buy it. You pay a lot extra for all those "time-saving" keys newer keyboards seem to want to foist upon you. Everyone has their own preferences...if those time-saving keys save you time and you're willing to pay more for them, that's fine too. The one thing you don't have to worry about is matching brand names. .
