Copy a URL from Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer 5.0 and Up (Windows
98/Me/NT/2000/XP)

send to a friend, etc. If the URL you want to copy is on the Address
line of your browser, click the address with the right mouse button
and choose Copy (or Control + C). If the URL is represented by a
link, (this can be a text link or a graphic link) right click the
link and choose Copy Shortcut. Now you can paste the URL where you
needed it by either right mouse clicking and choosing "Paste", or
just click Control + V in the application you want the URL copied to |
Open web pages from the RUN Command
Internet Explorer 5.0 and Up (Windows
98/Me/NT/2000/XP)
You can start up Internet Explorer and jump directly to your
favorite Web sites from the Run command on your Start menu. Click
Start, Run, then type in the URL you want to go to, click Enter. You
don't have to type http:// either, just start with www. For example
type in
www.thundercloud.net .
