Completely clean  the Temp folder in Windows Vista

If you use the Disk Cleanup utility in Vista to clean out your Temp folder, you are probably leaving hundreds, maybe of thousands, of files there after you "clean up". Why, because it only lists the files that are more than a week old. If you want to remove all the files all the time, you will have to do your cleaning manually (or use some cleanup program designed specifically for Windows).

Let's assume that less is more, and you want to remove the files manually without using any additional software. It's always good to know how to do things yourself on your computer even if you do want to use a software application to "clean" Windows. So here's how you can do it manually and relatively painlessly:

Click The Windows Logo button (formerly known as the Start button)  type %temp%  in the Search box.

This opens the Temp folder, which is located in Users\\AppData\Local path on the drive on which Windows Vista is installed.

Once that folder opens, manually highlight all files by pressing CTRL+A

Press Delete or right click and select Delete from the context menu.

All files will be deleted. If you want to be really clean, right-click on your Recycle Bin and click "Empty Recycle Bin". Come on, you wanna be really clean, don't ya?
