How to change the amount of space reserved
for System Restore in Windows XP:
- You can change the amount of disk space
reserved for System Restore in Windows XP. If you have a large hard drive and
lots of extra space, you may want to increase it. If you have a smaller hard
drive, and less disk space, you may want to decrease.
- Click Start, click Control Panel, click
Performance and Maintenance, and then click System.
- On the System restore tab click settings
- Use the slider to choose more or less disk
space for system restore. Decreasing may reduce the number of available
restore points. (minimum is 3% of your drive space, maximum is 12%)
