Dear Cloudeight friends, Thank you for subscribing to our newsletter. Please feel free to share our newsletter with your family and friends. This time of year all of us in the Northern Hemisphere are looking forward to summer; the birds are singing, the flowers are blooming and the weather is slowly getting warmer. Today, we will be introducing a brand new collection of Cloudeight Stationery, a new Cloudeight QuickNotes collection, and we're making it available for those of you who use IncrediMail also. Help support our free sites! We are currently working on more and different kinds of free things for you - including new kinds of stationery. We're also working on our first ever paperback book and a new version of Smileycons. We've recently cut our expenses by moving our sites to newer, less expensive Web servers and we have cut back in other areas as much as we can. We've cut back as far as we can and now we really need your help. If you're using Windows 7, you've probably already discovered that you don't have a real email program installed, and you'll either have to install Windows Live Mail - which is a very poor email program which isn't capable of using stationery, or you'll have to find something else to use. We're endorsing and recommending IncrediMail Premium for all Windows 7 users - it has many great features with a familiar Outlook Express-type setup. Plus, if you're using Windows 7 IncrediMail is your only choice if you love stationery. That's why we have already created more than 400 stationery for IncrediMail and why we'll continue to make every new collection available for IncrediMail too! Windows 7 Users - Please read: As most of you who've upgraded to or who have purchased a new computer with Windows 7, you've noticed that Microsoft has once again shown that they don't listen to their customers. While most of us were very happy with Outlook Express (on Windows XP) and Windows Mail (on Vista), Microsoft has chosen not to include a desktop mail program with Windows 7. What they offer instead is Windows Live Mail - which is not even a full-featured email program (no option to send mail in plain text, no option to create folders, no message rule option, a questionable spam filter, etc.). For those of you who love stationery, this was a real blow. Windows Live Mail cannot use any stationery - ours or anyone else's - even Microsoft's own stationery - correctly. The program is incapable of holding the stationery design together on replies, forwards, etc., which means simply - you can't use stationery with Windows Live Mail. This is the reason we're recommending IncrediMail and why we've already created over 400 stationery designs for IncrediMail. We will not stop making our stationery for Outlook Express and Windows Mail. There's a chance, although slight, that Microsoft will change their minds and allow Windows 7 users to use Windows Mail (the program in installed with Windows 7, but it's not usable) and, a better chance that Microsoft will include a real mail program in the next version of Windows due out next year. But this depends on you. You should contact Microsoft if you're a Windows 7 user and make your voice heard. Maybe someday Microsoft will listen to its customers and give them what they want. If you don't make your voice heard, they will keep on giving you what they want you to have and not what you want.
