Cloudeight Start Page Arcade "Blackjack"

Blackjack
The ubiquitous card game - famous everywhere - even at church fundraisers. Most of us have played it. Well, on Cloudeight it's just for your amusement. No money required. No prizes given. No money. No prizes. Just for fun. We want to make sure we're legal. Blackjack is just one of several games we'll be adding to our Start Page for your enjoyment and entertainment. We've tried these games and like them. We hope you do too! If you do we'll keep them. If you don't, shame on you! Kidding. If you don't we'll find something else for you. Our goal is to make our start page a start page for you. Something you'll enjoy returning to day after day and week after week.

One thing you will need before you can play Blackjack (and most of you probably already have it) is the Shockwave player - which is both free and safe. Shockwave is a Macromedia flash implementation which is now owned by Adobe (you know the people who make Acrobat and Adobe Photoshop?).  If you don't have Shockwave installed, you can get it free from http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/ .

OK. I know you came here to play Blackjack and not to read all this stuff. So without further pontification we proudly present Blackjack!

Did You Enjoy "Blackjack"?

We hope you enjoyed playing "Blackjack". If the response is positive, we'll be adding more and more games to our Start Page Arcade.  The games, if you like them, will be licensed to us. You guessed it, the license is not free. For us that is. But they're free and always will be free for you. If you want to help support our site you can do so by making a donation, ordering one of our products, enjoying any of the Google links :-) shown in the advertisements on this page; or by downloading Picasa (see the banner at the bottom of this page). Oh, and here's the deal with Google's Picasa: we get paid a little bit if you download it - and don't worry, it's a nice program, no bad stuff and it's useful if you have lots of photos -scanned or digital - and want to find, organize and edit them in a jiffy). We'd never recommend anything that didn't work or was bad for you or you computer. No matter how much someone wanted to pay us. We promise.
