In the town where I grew up, there was a statue by a fountain in the town park. One of the statues looked very much like this one. I can recall soft, summer nights, walking with my Grandfather through the park and stopping at the fountain to watch the water and feed popcorn to the goldfish. We used to stop and sit on one of the benches and talk. Things seemed so much simpler then; the world has changed so much.
