Microsoft Bashers Rejoice!

This is the time that all Microsoft bashers love. A time to rejoice and celebrate! With the release of Windows XP Service Pack 2 looming near, it's time for this vocal minority to rise and shine! You'll see them all over. They'll write their bashings on forums, message boards, and Blogs; they'll come crawling out of darkened basements to write "expert" articles that will appear in respectable online newsletters and on TV and traditional newspapers. They'll tell you how Windows XP will break "x" amount of programs and possibly cause problems with your computer. It's their day in the sun and they'll exult in every single minute of it.

But, what's the truth? That's the real issue. We're not going to sit here and lie to you and say that every single one of you who installs Windows XP will not have a single problem. We're not going to lie and tell you that it's complete nirvana. We're going to tell you flat-out what the truth is: And the truth is simple: You'll be a lot safer, a lot more secure, a lot less likely to be the victim of the next worm or virus, a lot less bothered by Internet pop-ups, a lot less likely to install spyware without being alerted to it, and a lot more in control of the BHOs (Browser Helper Objects) that you may have already installed. In short your computer will be more secure and your personal, private information will have a much greater chance of staying that way.

When XP's Service Pack 2 comes out, don't let the Microsoft basher's half-truths and speculative articles about "incompatibilities" possible broken applications keep you from installing it. Many of the the stories you might have read are  the worst-possible-scenarios presented as the norm. It's nonsense, written by publicity seekers and the ill-informed. You will be much safer and more secure with it installed than you've ever been before. Turn it on and tune out the badly informed Microsoft bashers. We've got Windows XP-SP2 installed and we know what we're talking about because we use it and have been using it since the testing of XP-SP2 began.

When Windows XP-SP2 is available to you, install it. You'll be glad you did.
