Our Bridges To Yesterday stationery collection features the art of two of our favorite artists, Bob Byerley and Tom Sierak in a nostalgic look back to the simpler days of yesterday.

We have featured both Bob Byerley and Tom Sierak several times in our stationery. We hope you will take a moment to visit the Web sites of both of these world class artists and show your appreciation for their generosity and their talent.

About the featured artists - Bob Byerley: "Bob Byerley is one of the foremost painters of children today. Considered a modern day Norman Rockwell, Bob's nostalgic "Trompe l'Oeil" fool the eye realism oil paintings evoke a feeling of a kinder and gentler age in which he grew up. Bob Byerley's classical ultra realistic interpretations of the everyday experiences of the child, awakens in the viewer, long forgotten memories. The art combines precise academic painting techniques of the Old Dutch Masters with the heart and soul of Norman Rockwell...." (Visit Bob Byerley's Online Gallery here.)

Tom Sierak"...Painting tomorrow’s memories today... that’s how Tom Sierak likes to describe his pastel paintings. He says, “People often talk about the good ol’ days and how nice it would be to return to them. I believe that the times we live in and have lived in, are always the 'good ol’days. Although people, places, and things may change around us, the bonds that exist between children, parents, grandparents, and close friends never do. I enjoy painting those seemingly  uneventful daily occurrences of warmth and emotion that make up the whole fabric of our lives. ..." (Visit Tom Sierak's Online Gallery here.)
