4 Indispensable Windows 10 Shortcuts

First – if you’re using Windows 8x or Windows 7, don’t despair, some of these shortcuts will work for you as well.

As we’re doing Cloudeight Direct Computer Care sessions we know how much time using keyboard shortcuts save. We use them all the time. But we also know, unless you use them, they can be hard to remember. While there are dozens and dozens of keyboard shortcuts, the only ones you’re likely to remember are the ones you use most. So…keeping that in mind, here are 4 indispensable shortcuts for Windows 10 (some work in earlier versions of Windows, too).

These are shortcuts you will (or should) use almost every day. And if you do, you’re sure to remember them:

Windows Key + A

Opens Action Center

Windows Key + X

Opens the right-click start menu. This is the so-called Power Menu. This also works in Windows 8x.

Windows Key

Opens the start menu (works on Windows 7 and Windows 8 too)

CTRL+SHIFT+ESC

Opens Task Manager (Works in Windows 7 & Windows 8x as well.)
