Having Problems With Your Wi-Fi Connection? This Q & A might help you
Over the course of the last year, we have received dozens of questions similar to the one we’re featuring from Jean today. If you’re having problems with your Wi-Fi, perhaps our answer to Jean will help.
Jean has problems connecting to her Wi-Fi
I am still struggling with this computer. I can now connect with Wi-Fi after a jillion futile attempts, but it connects when it wants, and some things still don’t work right. So yes, I am ready to try what you said!
Our answer
Hi Jean. It sounds like your computer’s wireless adapter is going bad. But there’s an easy way to workaround that; it’s easy to do and inexpensive too! Get yourself a Wi-Fi USB adapter. All you have to do is plug it into any available USB port, install the software that comes with it (if any) and connect to your Wi-Fi network. It’s the easiest way to work around a wireless network adapter that is going bad. It takes less than 5 minutes to get a USB Wireless Adapter up and running. You don’t even have to open your computer’s case… and you can do it for less than $30. TC recently bought a Wi-Fi USB adapter for his laptop and paid less than $20.
Here’s a Wi-Fi USB adapter we found on Amazon that says it’s for Windows 10 too.
You can find Wi-Fi USB adapters anywhere they sell computers, routers, printers, etc. For example, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Staples, Amazon and more. They range in price from little as $10 up to $80… you should be able to find a really good one for between $20 to $30 USD.

I had to do this on my older computer. It has worked fine and this computer is downstairs. The signal is good. At least for me.
