We all like to save money, but many of us are not very good at it. I know one person who never buys anything without checking for coupons first. Unlike the coupons our parents used to snip out of the Sunday paper, then throw in an envelope or box, and forget about until the coupons expired, the coupons that EB uses don’t need to be snipped, thrown in an envelope or box, but they do expire. She just copies and pastes her way to saving money. She’s out there shopping online right now – while I’m sitting here writing this newsletter and making you all guffaw and chortle with my absurdities and bad grammar. All those worries about grammar stifle my creative flow! EB is supposed to edit this stuff but, as I said, there are over 90,000 online shops and she’s not going to edit anything until she’s seen them all. So woe is you, dear reader. My advice to you is: mind-edit 🙂
That’s enough. You want the darn site pick so you can be like EB and save 10%, 20% or more – or at least get a coupon for free shipping. Think about this. What if you wanted to buy an elephant for the backyard zoo you’re building for your children or grandchildren? Do you have any idea how much FedEx would charge you for shipping one of those beasts to say, Montague, Iowa? I looked it up: for a standard, gray, unwashed elephant, with food and water for the trip, it would cost you around $7,821.12 (not including taxes and insurance – and you have to insure elephants; it’s the law!) Well now – what if you found a coupon for Jungle Jerry’s Wild Creature Emporium that gave you free shipping? It would be worth something to you, right?
I don’t know much about algebra or elephants, but I do know that coupons can save you money. And visiting our site pick today, RetailMeNot, and searching for coupons good at the stores you like to shop could save you money. Be sure you look for coupons before you make a purchase though -doing it after is not good. Using online coupons for online shopping could save you a lot of dough – which you could then turn around and use at our Donation Station. See how one hand washes the other?
Warning: It’s always good to get coupons before you buy something. It’s always bad to find a coupon after you’ve bought something. Finding out, after the fact, that you could have saved 25% off that new $300 Sponge Bob blouse you’ve been drooling over for the past two months, is really bad for your blood pressure.

I have often used Retail Me Not. I usually do a Google search (via Cloudeight’s page) for a coupon or promo code for a particular site I am about to order something from. Retail Me Not is the one that consistently pops up and I have come to know I can trust that site. Kudos to you for spreading the word.
I also live in Canada but I saw the logo for other countries halfway down the page and clicked the Canada flag and got all the canadian coupons. I agree with Duane that it would be most helpful if you could indicate if a website is USA only or perhaps mention to check to see if another country i.e. UK, Canada, etc is available.
