Dear Mister Hacker

Dear Mister HackerDear Mister Hacker

Every week we get dozens of emails attempting to blackmail us by exposing videos of us doing bad things. Since these blackmail emails (black emails) go out by the millions you probably have received several of them – and if you haven’t received them yet, you probably will.

The sad part of this whole charade is that people actually pay these self-proclaimed “hackers” who send these black emails out by the millions. If only one-tenth of one percent of the people these “hackers” send these kinds of emails to actually respond and send these “hackers” the money they demand, there can be a lot of money in it for the “hacker”. And that’s precisely why there are so many of these kinds of spam emails being sent every day.

Just the other day we receive three of these black emails from three different fake (forged) email addresses from three different “hackers”. Other than removing some vulgar words and changing the bitcoin wallet address to a nonworking one, we have left the “hackers” email exactly as we received it.

Please don’t worry or be afraid if/when you get an email like this. We don’t want you to throw your money away or fear that someone is watching you. We want you to be ready and informed and safe. Don’t allow these kinds of emails to scare you and never give in to these kinds of blackmail attempts – no matter what. They’re sending these out by the millions hoping to scare a few folks into sending them money.

Here is the “hacker’s” email — and our public reply 🙂

Hi there!

I am a professional hacker and have successfully managed to hack your operating system. Currently I have gained full access to your account.

In addition, I was secretly monitoring all your activities and watching you for several months. The thing is your computer was infected with harmful spyware due to the fact that you had visited a website with porn content previously.

Let me explain to you what that entails. Thanks to Trojan viruses, I can gain complete access to your computer or any other device that you own. It means that I can see absolutely everything in your screen and switch on the camera as well as microphone at any point of time without your permission. In addition, I can also access and see your confidential information as well as your emails and chat messages.

You may be wondering why your antivirus cannot detect my malicious software. Let me break it down for you: I am using harmful software that is driver-based, which refreshes its signatures on 4-hourly basis, hence your antivirus is unable to detect it presence.

I have made a video compilation, which shows on the left side the scenes of you… while on the right side it demonstrates the video you were watching at that moment…

All I need is just to share this video to all email addresses and messenger contacts of people you are in communication with on your device or PC. Furthermore, I can also make public all your emails and chat history.

I believe you would definitely want to avoid this from happening. Here is what you need to do – transfer the Bitcoin equivalent of 750 USD to my Bitcoin account (that is rather a simple process, which you can check out online in case if you don’t know how to do that).

Below is my bitcoin account information (Bitcoin wallet):
OK4U1vx7Bz97x59kLKbu33$zzx84b9x

Once the required amount is transferred to my account, I will proceed with deleting all those videos and disappear from your life once and for all. Kindly ensure you complete the abovementioned transfer within 50 hours (2 days +). I will receive a notification right after you open this email, hence the countdown will start.

Trust me, I am very careful, calculative and never make mistakes.
If I discover that you shared this message with others, I will straight away proceed with making your private videos public.

Good luck!

Dear Mr. Good Luck!

First, you must be a politician as you say you never make mistakes. Are you running for office this year?

Secondly… you’ve been monitoring me for months? Really? Nothing better to do? You must have been bored to death and finally decided to call it quits and go after some money.

Is this an attempt to blackmail me? I don’t even have $750 to give you even if you have racy videos of me. Trust me at my age they would not be very racy even if they did exist, which we both know – they don’t.

If you had full access to my account you would have known that my webcam is disabled and you would have tried to turn it back on – but you didn’t. And even if you did – which you did not – I have black electrical tape over the lens so no one can use it. If I need to use it I enable the cam and remove the tape. But I have not used it since 2020  for a tele-doctor visit. You have not been “monitoring” me for three years, have you?

I’m Sharing Your “Email” with Thousands of People!

If you don’t want to read anymore, I want to let you know that despite your threats, I’m sharing your “message” with thousands of people so they know what a loser you are and recognize blackmail attempts from people of your ilk.

So, go ahead, make my day – share my “private” videos with anyone you like. Make them public if you want, I dare you!

So, I’m going to let everyone know what a fake you are. I will let them know I received 11 emails exactly like yours from 11 self-proclaimed “hackers” this week alone. And every email is almost word for word like yours. Are you hackers using ChatGPT to write your blackmail letters? Or did you guys/gals use a blackmail template?

So, go ahead, release those racy videos you have of me. Show the world. Send them to Fox News, CNN, The Muppets, Spongebob… I don’t care.

I hope publishing this helps to make sure that not a single person falls for your foolish blackmail attempt.

You’re such a loser. I can’t wait to see those racy videos of me!

Sincerely,

NEGBYV
(Not Ever Gonna BeYour Victim)

Yes I got some of those emails, too. Biggest pile of baloney I ever saw!
“Private” videos? Hah! Nothing I have is to be ashamed of or afraid of to show. I never go near porn sites or anything else weird as I am a devout Christian and follow God. My computer content is as clean as a newborn baby.
And I will have nothing whatsoever to do with anything even remotely relating to bitcoin. So even if I did believe this twat, (which I emphatically do not!) they would have to find some other, more traditional way to scam money out of me.
That said, rest assured, nothing said in those emails can they actually do. No viruses, Trojans, spyware, malware, or the like, is ever that foolproof. So feel free to not give in to their ridiculous demands.
And if you do have such files on your computer that you do feel the need to secretly encrypt or otherwise hide, (I’m talking porn, deep web, perversions, etc, not confidential or business, just to clarify) then shame on you. Too many idiots using this beautiful, God-given, educational tool for nefarious purposes.

Anyway, do not let these ridiculous emails frighten you. And never, never, give in to them.

Sadly, enough people do send money to these criminals to make sending them lucrative. That’s why I made a joke out of this “hacker”.

My question is why bother to reply rather than send to spam?
Is there any possibility that by replying you may be confirming your email address
    Thanks for the warning

I didn’t reply by email and certainly would never recommend anyone reply since the spammer would never get it – they don’t use a real email address. I published my “reply” only to show people not to be afraid of these kinds of blackmail attempts. Remember he said if I told anyone about his email he would immediately release all the goodies and subject me to public embarrassment. Do you know how many people actually send money to these criminals? They send out these kinds of emails by the millions because they know that enough people will fall for it that they can make tens of thousands of dollars. So, not I didn’t really “reply” to the hacker, it was more a way to expose these kinds blackmail emails for what they are.

Thank you for reminding us all to be ever vigilant!

Yesterday I was confronted w/a full monitor picrure of BIG Letters & Warnings & all blue, white, black, yellow & ALL Very BOLD letters & big print!

I could NOT delete it anywhere even though there was a delete button! Finally just turned to “Task Manager” but that didn’t get rid of it…So I turned off the machine & left it alone for a while.

When I returned & turned it back on, the big vicious-looking screen came on again – completely filling my monitor. So I quickly turned my computer off again & didn’t go back for hours. Later, when I tried again, I never received that Giant Pop-up again!

I just wanted to let you know that I was happy I could at least turn off the computer & forget about it for a few hours.

Thank you for your first-class advice & suggestions & “hot tips”!

    In Friendship, J. Bolen
