Happy New Year from TC & Darcy! Wishing You All the Best in 2025

It’s the last day of 2024. Tomorrow, we’ll begin a new year. It will be our 27th year for our little business, which we call Cloudeight.

It’s been an amazing ride, but we would not be here if it weren’t for the support and generosity of many of you.

You’ve kept us going. Because of you, we’ve been able to survive the only way we want to survive: by being honest and helping as many of you as we can at little or no cost to you.

Recently we started our Winter Donation Drive and, well, what can we say? Your response has been wonderful as always.

We are looking forward to the new year with hope and with gratitude for all of you who we consider part of our Cloudeight family.

These past 26 years have been a roller coaster ride for us. But we’ve survived the ups and downs because of you. And Darcy and I want you to know we consider you friends – we hope you consider us friends too.

Every new year is a mystery. Not a single one of us knows what the new year will bring. The new year is a mystery. It is a beginning and an end. All of us will begin a new journey tomorrow and the past year will fade away and melt into all the years that have passed before.

We wish you all the best in the new year to come. May your journey be a safe and happy one. Each curve in the road ahead is an unknown, and we’ve all traveled similar roads before.

Some of us look back at the year’s end with good and happy memories, and others look back at the bad and sad memories. But I think most of us look back upon the year that’s drawing to a close with a little bit of all of those.

Our mission is and always has been to give you what you want but never sell you out. We strive to tell you the truth and ensure that we keep you abreast of the dangers, both new and old, that you’ll face every day on the Internet.

As the old year fades into the past and the new year arrives. we both want you to know how much we appreciate you. Thank you very much for making it possible for our little “mom and pop” business to beat the odds and survive in this crazy new world of mega-corporations and an internet that has become all about the almighty dollar.

We hope that in the coming year, we will continue to earn your trust and friendship as we have tried so hard to do in all the years that have come before.

May the new year bring you and those you love happiness and good health.

From both of us to all of you – straight from our hearts…

Thank you so much for your friendship and support. We appreciate both more than you know.

Happy New Year 2025!

May the good Lord bless you both and keep you healthy this new year. I found your site in 1999 and have been a loyal viewer ever since. I don’t know what I would do if you decided to end your business and retire. We all get to that point as I did. Wish you both a healthy New Year!!

I am wishing both of you the best that life has to offer! I really don’t know what I would have done all these years w/o you two helping me dig myself out of the various holes I landed in but I am ever so grateful! I am finding it hard to believe it has been 26 years – are you sure you counted that right? I am that much older?

Please do not consider retiring! I still rely on you two.

Happy New Year from “Down Under”
I have certainly learnt heaps since 1999 when I first heard about “Cloud Eight” and its weekly Newsletter.
Look what has happened to technology over the past 5 years, let alone the past 25 years.
To Darcy and TB,many thank you`s for being on the spot whenever changes occurred with Computer and Internet advances.
There are very few reliable and trustworthy people over the Internet “World” and we are very fortunate that you have survived to advise us to keep on the right side of Tecnology.
May 2025 bring you both lots of good health and happiness.

I think I have been reading your articles (and learning a great deal – thank you, thank you, thank you) for all 26 years, I think. Can’t remember how I found you but that doesn’t matter, I am so thankful that I did. Happy New Year to both of you and keep up the wonderful gift you have given all of us!!!!!

I also want to wish you both, along with your loved ones, a wonderful New Year filled with love, health, and happiness. I got my first desktop computer in 1997 and don’t remember if I learned about Cloudeight in 1998 or 1999. But I still had a LOT to learn when I found you and I appreciate all I have learned (and am still learning) throughout the years. I couldn’t begin to count the amount of money you saved me by teaching us how to prevent problems and how to do a lot of fixes ourselves. I had to use my Cloudeight repair key once and I know I would have paid much more if I had to take it to a local shop. I look forward to another year and I KNOW I will need your help when I make the jump to Windows 11! God bless you both in the year ahead.

Best wishes to you both for the coming year. I have recommended your website to so many people for you are so trustworthy.

My 2 Dear Friends of Cloudeight,
I offer you my little prayer that I sent out to my friends, and now I pray it for you EB, and TC.
Unfortunately, I cannot afford to send you a donation at this time (I’m 88 y.o.) but I have purchased your services, in fact, I think I still have some that I haven’t even “cashed in” yet.
I hope you don’t mind my “religiousness” but I can’t help it, I have been a priest for the past 62+ years, and as you might guess “It’s hard” to teach an old “dog” new tricks.
Ergo: here is my Prayer for you.

    My Living God,
As we open our eyes on this new day, and New Year we all can remember our “past” sins, faults, failures, forgetting, and weaknesses. If only we could forget them. If only we could start again.
We can begin again. God is willing to forget our “complete” past if we turn to Him and ask for forgiveness. As Paul tells us (Colossians 1:14; 2:13) It is in Jesus’s Name that “we have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins — ALL our sins”
So it is never too late to begin again.
May you never fall from God’s “Forgiving and Loving Arms” and always recognize, and receive God’s Loving Grace.

You two are real gems in this business. The first answer of so many is the “brush-off.” I haven’t ever received that from you. May your 2025 be a year filled with great joys and Blessings.
For the record, for the second year in a row I’ve been in hospital. This was most serious: broken hip and replacement. Complain? Not me. I am way too old to bear any grudges, besides, it’s too exhausting to vengeful.
    HOORAH 2025.

From when the internet was “boards” to now and your first stationery’s that I loved but never worked in my emails the time has flown by! I never had anyone teach me the internet and when I helped my sister learn it has been a real roller coaster and I have loved every minute of it. At that time I had only you 2 helping me along. For which i am so thankful for. With my age and the technology creeping up so quickly I am finding I am getting left behind somewhat and see my “retirement” looming. Thanks a million for all you work and support! Blessings, peace, happiness in 2025.

    Dear T.C. and Darcy,
Where to begin. Now being an Octagarian I guess you could say I have travelled a lot of years on the shirt tails of both yourself and Darcy. However honesty is the best policy and together with your time and patience I have survived. I was one of the very lucky ones who shared the years of your most wonderful Stationery and even dived in at the deep end and made some of my own which I might add other than sending to friends and family never graced the pages of distinction or reached the accolade that Cloudeight eight rightly deserved with their amazing talent that they so very kindly shared with all and sundry to admire , enjoy , and pass onto their friends and relations to also enjoy. Admiration and appreciation go out to yourself T.C. and Darcy for the years of patience, tolerance and generosity in your sharing for one and all to appreciare and learn from. I also in the very early years when I first took my first step onto the stage of computer literacy I actually in one of my really down days I actually had the courage to ring you T.C. from down under and spoke with you. You answered my questions with precision and clarity but also with a hint of the way to learn is to get on with it. So today I am still here certainly not any where near the top of the class but certainly with appreciation and fortitude and now am able to to let you know that word of mouth is the best advetiser and that I have done in spades. MAY YOUR WORRIES BE LESS , YOUR HAPPINESS MORE, AND NOTHING BUT PROSPERITY COME THROUGH YOUR DOOR. Have a wonderful 2025.
