Windows 7 is extremely user friendly when it comes to window management. You will really like the way that you can “dock” a window to the left or right half of the screen by dragging it to the edge of your screen. Or, you can drag a window to the very top edge of the screen to maximize it. Or if you like to click, you can double-click the top or bottom window border to maximize the Window vertically or similarly you can click the right or left border to maximize the window horizontally.
If your not a mouse-maniac you can use the following keyboard shortcuts to resize windows in Windows 7:
Windows Key + Up Arrow maximizes the window
Windows Key + Down Arrow restores the window size
Windows Key + Left Arrow Key docks the window on the left side of the screen
Windows Key + Right Arrow Key docks the windows on the right side of the screen
Windows Key + Shift + Up Arrow Key maximizes the vertical size of the window
Windows Key + Shift + Down Arrow Key restores the vertical size of the window.
* Win+Left Arrow and Win+Right Arrow dock;
* Win+Up Arrow and Win+Down Arrow maximizes and restores / minimizes;
* Win+Shift+Up Arrow and Win+Shift+Down Arrow maximizes and restores the vertical size.
Particularly useful is the docking feature. You can “dock” two windows side by side much easier in Windows 7 than other versions of Windows. This is very useful if you have a wide screen monitor.
It looks to me that there will be a charge for this service. Please correct me if I am mistaken.
The download properties look to be very good, but am confused with their ending.
I’m not sure what “service” you’re referring to – We don’t charge anything for this site. But I’m sure you’re not referring to this site – are you?
This is great and goes together with
Alt+m to minimize all open windows, and
Alt+shift+M to maximize all minimized windows.
