Tip#1: MouseKeys – Not Mouseketeers!
Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7
Windows XP Users – MouseKeys is another accessibility feature that you may find useful. MouseKeys lets you control the mouse pointer with the numeric keypad. This gives you much greater control over the mouse pointer. To turn this feature on, go to the Accessibility Options applet in Control Panel, choose the Mouse tab, and check the Use MouseKeys check box. Feel free to “mouse” around and explore the various settings.
Windows Vista and Windows 7 users: To turn on MouseKeys, type Accessibility in the start menu search, click on “Change how your mouse works” when it appears at the top, then check the “Use MouseKeys” check box
Tip #2: Going Home Without A Mouse
Windows All Versions, Internet Explorer and Firefox
Most of you have a Web page you call your home page. Of course, we’re sure it’s http://thundercloud.net/start/ because you like us so much. Probably not though, but we can always hope. Anyway, when you’re surfing the Web and you want return to your home page most of us click the “Home” icon on the toolbar. But, did you know you can get home without using the mouse?
You can and here’s how: When you’re browsing around the Web, no matter where you are, all you have to do is press Alt-Home keys to return to your home (start) page. See? You can get home quick without a mouse – so next time, give the mouse a rest and go home the easy way.
I learned something new today. Thank you
I use the TABS.
Not sure how browser tabs relates to the article – but thanks for your comments 🙂
