A Complete List of Antivirus Software Removal Tools

Sally wants to know how remove Trend Micro Titanium correctly
Hi guys. I’m going to switch to Emsisoft because of your recommendation. The research I’ve done seems to back up your recommendation. I need to know how to remove my current antivirus (Trend Micro Titanium) correctly. I seen you mention several times in your newsletters not to use control panel to remove antivirus software. Thank you both for all you do. Sally L.

Our answer
Thanks so much, Sally. You’re absolutely correct. Using the Control Panel’s remove a program feature never completely removes most security software; almost always it leaves behind services or processes that continue to run in background even though the program itself is no longer installed. Almost all security software companies make a removal tool that completely remove the security software, If you’re thinking that it’s a Control Panel issue that prevents most security software from being completely removed it’s not. Control Panel’s remove a program feature uses the programs own uninstaller. It seems most antivirus companies don’t care if their uninstallers work correctly or not.

In any case, most security software companies offer special removal tools to completely rid your computer of their software. In your case, you can download the Trend Micro Titanium removal tool from the following link:
