A quick and easy browser trick that can help with common page loading problems

By | September 14, 2012

If you’re having trouble with a site that doesn’t load correctly or the content doesn’t seem to look like it should, here’s a simple and quick tip that could help.

This tip will clear the cache or a single site – which forces the browser to load the page anew. And it’s easy to do. Just hold down the SHIFT key while pressing the browser’s refresh button — or old down SHIFT key with pressing the F5 key.

This works on any site and with any browser. Clicking the refresh button while holding down the shift key, that site’s cache is deleted immediately, and the browser will reload the entire page again. This is a good first option if you’re having trouble loading a page or viewing its content.

Try it! It’s a quick and easy way to fix some common page-loading problems.

And this time – we put the F in SHIFT!

Love all the tips and tricks and advice I get from you! Keep up the good work. I have to say though, that you left the H out of Hold…when using the F5 key.
