A Thank You and an Announcement
First, we want to thank every one of you for your continued support and friendship. Over the last year or so, we have put a lot more time and effort into helping people with their computers by email. Many times we’ll write a personalized tutorial with screenshots in order to help answer a question or resolve a problem. And we don’t check to see whether the people who write us for computer help buy products or services from us or if they’ve donated to help us. We answer everyone who reaches out for help. And many times, we are able to help folks fix their computer problems without them buying or using a Cloudeight Direct Computer Care service key. So, over the past year or so we’ve dedicated more time to providing people with free computer help via email.

Why are we providing more free support by email and how can we afford to do that?
Rather than trying to advertise products we don’t fully support, or trying to get you to buy computer software or hardware on an affiliate basis, we limit the products we sell to those we fully support… products we use ourselves and recommend to family members too.
We could have made a lot of money over the years recommending products we don’t believe in and would never use ourselves, but that’s not the kind of people we are. That’s why we will never get rich doing what we do. But that’s okay. We’re rich in a different way because every time we receive an email thanking us for helping someone, or someone’s father, mother, wife, husband, sister, brother, etc. it’s better than money. We really believe one can be rich by giving.

But we still have to pay the bills so how do we do that?
The answer is YOU! So many of you have stepped up to help us with monthly donations or just chipped in with donations when you can. And we want you to know how very much we appreciate it. The more financial support we receive, the more time and effort we can devote to helping everyone with answers to their computer questions and personalized tutorials to assist folks in fixing their computer problems – regardless of their ability to donate or pay.
We consider all of you who visit our website and subscribe to our InfoAve Weekly and/or InfoAve Daily newsletters our friends. Some of you have been with us since we started 25 years ago; many of you have been with us for over a decade. And some of you have just recently joined. We consider all of you our friends and we hope you consider us friends too. We like to think of all of you as part of the Cloudeight family.

Our Spring Donation Drive Begins Today
Four times a year we have donation drives. We hope that you will continue to help us keep helping you. Today, we are beginning our spring donation drive.
Any donation, large or small is appreciated.
If you can help us during our spring donation drive, we would really appreciate it. If not, we understand and we’ll be here for you to help you with your computer questions and problems. You’ll always get our best, no matter what.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Thank you for taking the time to read this. And thank you in advance for your help!
Best wishes from both of us!

Hi,
Thankyou both, for your good spirit and attitude to what life is ALL ABOUT!!
YES, you certainly DO deserve benefits for ALL that you do for people with computers, for the amount of UNPAID time you spend, fixing all those little problems— like the “one” who has lost the Emsisoft email that you supply to install, or reinstall Emsisoft, when things go wrong!!
YES, I said benefits, well, I guess the most likely way would be—a donation!!
Thanking you for all, Jeff.
I can truly confirm that Darcy & EB go above and beyond! I found them years ago when I was a Windows user. As a former caregiver for a family member with Alzheimer’s who was all over the web buying, using a credit card, answering fake emails, sending money to shady sites (you get the idea!), Darcy was able to access his computer with my help, clean it up and put restrictions in place for safety. The computer was his last enjoyment and I didn’t want to take that away knowing that sooner rather than later, he was going to need assisted living care and would no longer have a computer. I switched to a Mac several years ago, but still read their emails – invaluable, even to a Mac user!
So, let’s help them continue to help all of us!
