Do you know what the difference between being a novice searcher and a power searcher is? Finding things. You can find anything you’re looking for if you know how to search.

We’re not really power searchers but we’ve been around, and we can tell you that you can waste a lot of time searching if you don’t know how to search. Almost everything we want to know we can find in a few seconds; necessity is the mother of invention. We don’t have a lot of extra time, so we need to find what we’re looking for the first time –not after five searches.

Everything you want to know is at your fingertips — but if you don’t know how to find it, then it does you no good.

Google is offering you a six-part course in power searching with Google. At the end of the course, they’ll send you a certificate by email, and you’ll be an official Google Power Searcher.

This should be a very interesting and helpful course for any of you who have the time to invest in it. It’s free too! And being a power searcher you’ll be able to ferret out thing the common mortal only dreams of…

    Thank you Guys, you sure do come up with some ‘cracker’ tit bits. I’ve signed up, now wait until July 10th. More than happy to give a progress report. Amazing timing as I have been wondering how I could increase the power of my searches for work. I’m not going to tell the boss, he can just wonder where my knowledge base has come from.
