It seems to us that everyone takes computing too seriously. We all need to sit back, take a break and relax. If you believe the tech pundits, we’re all under surveillance 24/7/365 – someone out there knows that EB wears pink fuzzy socks (well, she does!). But who cares what EB puts on her old feet? Let her wear pink fuzzy socks. If the FBI and CIA and Google and Microsoft and Zesty Ads want to crack EB’s secrets, so what? She’ll see a lot of ads for pink things. It’s OK. That’s fine. If you believe the fear mongers, soon our minds will be probed by Internet beams blasting forth from our LCD screens or slithering up through our fingertips – and then look out. They’ll be videos of EB’s imagination online. And I’d love to see that.
But don’t worry about mind-probes and cookies that track you and learn about your hideous toenail fungus. We don’t care. You’ll see ads for toenail fungus medicine, big deal. Hey! If you need it, you might find a coupon, and save some muhlah!
Why not sit back tonight and make a movie? If you can type, you can make a movie. Well…sort of. We’re not going to say too much about it…we’d rather show you. Feel free to watch our short subject (very short) called “A Quick Movie” — starring EB and Academy Award nominee TC, who recently turned down an offer from Hollywood to become the next James Bond!
Instead of rambling on, we’re going to show you what you can do if you can type. It is with much ado and great pleasure that we proudly present to you — “A Quick Movie” — made with Xtranormal’s Online Movie Maker:
http://www.xtranormal.com/watch/12913482/a-quick-movie
The movie cost us nothing (but a little bit of time )to make. If you want to remove the Xtranormal’s watermark, you will have to pay a little bit. But it costs nothing to play a little bit – and we all need to play a little bit, right.
PS: We didn’t test the desktop (Downloadable) version. If you want to try it – let us know how you liked it. We’re only recommending the online movie maker, because that’s what we tested.
Now for a word from the developers:
“If you can type, you can make movies™…
Xtranormal’s mission is to bring movie-making to the people. Everyone watches movies and we believe everyone can make movies. Movie-making, short and long, online and on-screen, private and public, will be the most important communications process of the 21st century.
Our revolutionary approach to movie-making builds on an almost universally held skill—typing. You type something; we turn it into a movie. On the web and on the desktop.”
So play a little, have some fun – if you can type, you can make a movie. Visit http://www.xtranormal.com/ and unleash your latent movie-making skills!
Xtranormal works with XP, Vista and Windows 7; and it works with all browsers
