Our Trip to Disney World

By | May 6, 2014

A lot of you think we run a Mickey Mouse operation, so you’re not surprised that we just returned from Disney World in Orlando, Florida. We had to stay in a hotel because no one invited us to stay in their homes with them while we visited Florida. You know I can’t blame them; EB kind of  monopolizes the bathroom — not going to get into details. Anyway, we had to stay in budget hotels (separate rooms, OK?) which cost us a lot of money. Like most other people with no money, we charged everything.

You don’t believe me do you? Ha! I have photographic evidence! Here are EB and TC enjoying a beautiful day at Walt Disney World Florida…

I think EB’s outfit is ostentatious — but look at my purple shirt — now that’s class!

I have to tell you the truth — we don’t look as good as the couple above. We wanted to get your attention because we have a Web application that makes removing backgrounds from your digital photos and images very easy. And there’s nothing to install so no worries about malware or bundles or stuff like that. Plus you can use it whether you use Windows, Apple, Android, or whatever. If you have an internet connection (hopefully broadband), a browser and some digital photos or images, you have all you need (besides love).

And talk about easy to use — if you can drag & drop, you can use this Web application. Just drag your photo into the box on the page and watch as the dragon burns off the background. You’ll get several variations of your image sans background clutter; you choose the best one. Use the included touch up tools to make your image as perfect as you want it, and you are done.

It’s called Background Burner and using it is as easy as dragging and dropping the image you want to edit into the magic box:

Now, you can’t drag images into that box (above) because it’s just a screen shot. You have to go to Background Burner to drag and drop stuff. And if you don’t know to drag and drop, you have another choice — you can select any image on your computer and upload it to Background Burner.

Here’s some information from the site that tells you what you can do with Background Burner.

Frequently asked questions

Remove white backgrounds, save with alpha transparency, and more
  • How does the Background Burner automatically remove image backgrounds?

  • Easy: It’s magic! Well… it’s computer magic. It uses a large number of high-tech software algorithms to analyze your image and detect line, color and focus, to separate objects in the foreground from objects in the background.

  • Can I clean up my image background after it’s been removed?

  • Yes. Every once in a while, the Burned version may not have a perfect background removal. If that happens, just find the thumbnail that looks the best and click “Touch up.” Then use the interactive touch-up tools to perfect your background outline.

  • Can it remove white backgrounds from images?

  • Yes, it can. If you have an image with a white background, you can run it through the Burner and save it as a PNG. This will convert the white background into an alpha layer, making the background transparent.

  • Why is it so important to remove the background from product photos?

  • If you’re selling a product on a marketplace like Amazon.com or Bonanza.com, buyers are more likely to purchase when your product photo has a clean, white background. Case studies show that removing the background using a tool like Background Burner can increase sales conversion by 300%.1 You’re welcome!

  • How can I use it to change the background of my photos?

  • While it’s possible to change the background of a photo using image editing software like Gimp or Photoshop, the hardest part is removing the background in the first place. Luckily, the Background Burner does the hard part for you. Just run your image through the Burner and download it as a PNG. Then paste it on top of the new background using your favorite image editing software.

Now it’s time to say goodbye, to all our company…M I C (see ya real soon), K E Y …
Go burn the background clutter from your favorite photos – touch them up and amaze your family and friends by putting yourself in a boat on a river with tangerine trees and marmalade skies.
It’s a Web app. It’s a Cloudeight Freeware Pick. Nothing to download. Amazing results. Visit Background Burner and burn, baby, burn!
