Problems Booting Windows 10? Try This Simple Tip
Here’s an easy tip you can use if you have problems starting Windows 10. This tip will also come in handy if you ever need to access the Windows 10 advanced boot menu and use the Windows 10 Troubleshooting tools, System Restore, System Reset, Command Prompt and other Windows 10 tools that can help you get your PC back on the road – so to speak.
So if you have trouble starting your Windows 10 computer – or you if want to boot to the Advanced Boot Menu, do this:
Hold down the SHIFT key and restart your computer as you normally would. Continue holding down the SHIFT key until the Advanced boot menu appears on your screen.
If you’re having problems starting your PC you’ll want to click on “Troubleshoot”. From there you’ll be able to access System Restore, Reset, Command Prompt and other Windows tools you can use to sort out the problems plaguing your PC and get Windows 10 up and running again.
If you want to practice booting to the Advanced Boot Options Menu, just restart the computer while holding down the SHIFT key. When you get to the Advanced Boot Menu, just click “Continue” to boot into Windows normally.
Okay. Now I have to find my Staples “That Was Easy” button.
