Reset Your Browser to Fix (some) Browser Issues
Installing extensions can add functionality to your browser, some of them quite helpful – LastPass for example. Others, like Shop-at-Home can cause your browser to display unwanted popup or worse. Sometimes uninstalling or removing a browser extension doesn’t fix the problems created by some extensions.
If you have are having problems with your browser, no matter what the cause, a good option is to reset it. This removes all extensions and resets your browser back to its original state. Resetting a browser does not erase or remove your bookmarks or favorites.
Here’s the skinny on resetting the 3 most popular browsers:
Internet Explorer – Click Tools / Internet Options / Advanced Settings / Reset
Firefox – Click Help / Troubleshooting information / Refresh Firefox
Chrome – Click the Menu icon (very top-right; it looks like 3 horizontal lines). Click Settings. At the very bottom of the Settings dialog, click Show Advanced Settings, stroll all the way to the bottom and click “Reset settings”.
Microsoft Edge (Windows 10) – Open the “Settings” menu by clicking the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner and click on “Settings.” Under Clear browsing data, click “Choose what to clear” and then click “Show more.” There are a lot of choices here. Select them all and click “Clear.” Restart your PC and re-open Edge.
When your favorite browser is not working right – due to an extension you installed or something else, resetting your browser, can some browser problems.

You have to make the menu bar visible to see “help”. Here’s help for you.
FYI: The Menu icon on Chrome recently changed to three vertical dots instead of lines… at least mine did.
