We’re going to have to explain this site very well because the site doesn’t explain itself at all. I guess they figure you’ll figure it out or you won’t. You gotta love his laid-back attitude. Apparently though, even though the site’s developer doesn’t care if you know what it is, a lot of folks have figured it out, because it’s so useful. And apparently the guy’s still around because the copyright date says 2011. Maybe he has and auto-copyright script? Quien Sabe?

Have you ever purchased a software program that allows you to install it on more than one computer and wanted to copy your license key from one computer to another? As you probably know you can’t copy and paste from one computer to another. If you don’t know this, then skip this article. We’ll assume that most of you know this though. So there was no good way of getting your license key from one computer to another other than emailing it to yourself which is often not convenient – is it? Wouldn’t it be nice if you could copy from one computer and copy/paste it on another?

And this is not only good for software license keys but signature files you use in your email program, links to favorite sites, and all kinds of stuff that escape me at the moment which, I’m sure, will come back to haunt me when I’m done writing this.

Just visit our site pick “Hey Paste It”, paste in some text – a link will be generated and simple three character clip number will be assigned. Go to your other computer, go to http://heypasteit.com/ and type in your clip number and there is your clip. Copy and paste it on your other computer. It’s handier than an albatross at sea – that’s for sure!
