A comment from June
After a few hiccups with my
slow internet connection, Darcy did a great job of installing Emsisoft,, backing
up my docs, and making a Windows 10 re-boot disc in case the worst should ever
happen. I was loathe to do any of these myself as I'm always thinking I might
make a mistake, now I have peace of mind, I'll try to do the many tips we
receive in the newsletters myself. Thanks again Darcy for your patience,
expertise and encouragement.
A comment from Thelma
FRIENDS OF CLOUDEIGHT...I just noticed, that I have only 2 weeks time left on my
Seasons Pass, before it runs out. So, I got in touch with Darcy, to clean up my
machine, one more time, before that KEY expires. She was so accommodating, that
she did it the same day,
A comment from Valerie
Hi
Darcy. Thank you for doing the pre check and post check for Windows 10. I tend to
get anxious when talking about computers or chatting online. The palms sweat the
mind goes blank. You dear Darcy made our two sessions a smooth and relaxing
experience. It was fascinating to watch you work your magic. I learned a lot
from you and with the tips from Info Ave I am about to put all those tips to
work. To know there are people like yourself and TC out there looking after our
computers is comforting to say the least. Thank you so much...Valerie
A comment from Robert
I recommend everyone
buying a repair key. Darcy was able to take me earlier than my appointment time.
Had a hard time connecting up; but after connected. She was flying and had my
work done in quick time. I have had work done on 3 occasions in the past. All
were done correctly and I saved bundles of money. Cloudeight repair will fix you
up guaranteed. If I dropped off my computer at a repair shop it would take days
and lots of money to fix; plus you don't know what they are adding to your
computer. Thank you for your great support Cloudeight!

Just going thru a few things now and enjoying it much more. Thanks for changing
1or 10 to the 7 will enjoy it now. I am 80 just about 81 and with out my
computer I am lost. Again, thanks ever so much Darcy.
A comment from Lynda
A big thank you once again
for Darcy. She set up the hard drive to backup windows 10 & other files today. I
so appreciate her work & watching her do it all so fast, but mostly all her tips
& advice. I think we are all lucky to have her & TC for the work they do. Thanks
Darcy for today. Have a great week & Happy Easter to you & TC. Lynda
A comment from Mike
If you haven't used Cloudeight Direct
service you don't know what you're missing. After spending over $200 with a
local computer repair service and being without a computer for 3 days, the
problems I wanted repaired returned after a couple days. I contacted Cloudeight
and TC connected to me, fixed up my problems - including ones I didn't even know
I had and did all this for $65. Unbelievable. That was 3 weeks ago and my
computer is still running perfect. You have to give them a try. They are great.
Thank you TC! Mike.
Thanks to June, Thelma, Valerie, Robert, Sally,

Rita Ann has problems with NotePad
I was trying
to type a meds. list using Note Pad. I was only able to type twenty lines and
was unable to scroll up any further. What needs to be done?
Our answer
Hi Rita Ann. There are three things you can try:
1. You can open an
administrator command prompt (since I don't know what version of Windows you're
using I'll tell you how to do it on Windows 7 and Windows 10) and run System
File Checker to check your Windows system files (of which Notepad is one).
If you're using Windows 7, click the start button, type CMD in the start
menu search. When CMD appears at the top, right-click it and choose Run as
Administrator.
If you're using Windows 10, right-click the start button
(or press Windows Key + X) and choose "Command Prompt (admin)"
In the
command prompt window type:
SFC /SCANNOW
The space between the C
and the slash / is important.
It will take 10 to 20 minutes (on average)
to complete the scan. It will tell you when it's done whether it found any
corrupted/missing files and whether or not they were repaired. If it finds
missing/corrupted files and says "fixed them all" - try NotePad again and see if
it's fixed. If not, keep on reading...
2. You can
download MetaPad (an excellent Notepad replacement). It's free and you can get
it at http://liquidninja.com/metapad/
. Once you've downloaded it, unzip it, right-click on metapad.exe and choose
"Pin to taskbar" and "Pin to Start". MetaPad has a lot more features than
Notepad, it can open files faster, it can open bigger files than Notepad, it is
more configurable than NotePad - and it's just as easy to use. I used MetaPad
instead of NotePad. I think you'll find MetaPad will work great for you.
3. You can also use WordPad. WordPad is on every Windows computer. To open it,
press the Windows key + R and type WRITE and press Enter. You can also type
WordPad
in the run box and it will open. I just find typing "write" in the run box
cuter.
The
question and answer above is from our Forum

Charles finds one thing he doesn't like about Windows 10
The one thing I don't like about windows 10 is that you never know when an
update has taken place and so it would be hard to determine if that is what
caused the problem. I really appreciate both of you guys (girls) you have saved
me so much frustration on my computer.
Our answer
Thanks very much, Charles.
You can know when an update has taken place or
is about to take place and it's really easy to do.
Press Windows Key + i
to open Settings.
Click on Update & Security
Click on Windows
Update
You'll see the dialog below:

Click on "Advanced options" and you'll see this:

Under "Choose how updates are
installed, choose "Notify to schedule to restart" instead of the default
"Automatic". This way you'll be notified whenever an Update is ready to be
installed. You can modify the time and day the update(s) will be installed. So
you'll always know when Windows is going to update. Also, in the bottom
right-hand corner of your computer, right next to the clock, there's a
notification icon that will turn white when there is notification information to
view. Windows Update notices are displayed there after they are installed.
Hope this helps make Windows 10 even better for you.
Thanks for your
kind words.

Lee says our tips for Windows 10 have been most helpful but...
Hi Darcy and TC. Your tips for W10 have been great of late so thanks. My query
is that with XP and Windows 8 I could do a "print screen" and then open Notepad
and paste it into it. However it wont paste into Notepad in W10, or it
wont on my computer! Any suggestions? Thanks, Lee
Our answer
Hi Lee. You could never do a print screen (screen shot) and paste
into NotePad. NotePad is a text editor --and is only for text, not pictures. You
could, however, open MS Paint, and click paste to capture the screenshot
image. Paint is for images like a screenshot. Even better...on Windows 10, if
you hold down the Windows Key and tap your Print Screen key, it will copy of your screen image and automatically save it to your Pictures folder,
in a subfolder called Screenshots. The subfolder "Screenshots" is created
automatically for you the first time you make a
screen capture / screen shot this way. Give it a try!

Barbara wants to know what we think about an article about
Windows 10
I also have a WINDOWS 7 yet to be upgraded to Windows 10
until I read this article.
http://www.ghacks.net/2016/03/25/never-10-prevent-windows-10-upgrades/. I value and trust your opinion so what do you think about this article?
Our Answer
Hi Barbara. Thank you. Sometimes,
in this world of instant journalism, there's a tendency for people to make news
where there is none. The info in the article is not new. It's old stuff. There
are at least a dozen programs that promise to remove the Windows 10 update icon
from your taskbar as well as prevent the "Upgrade to Windows 10" reminders that
annoy some Windows 7 and Windows 8x users. While you don't need a program to
stop these reminders and/or to remove the "Upgrade to Windows 10" icon from your
taskbar or the reminders (nags) that popup on your screen, but they do make it
easier. One of the more popular programs to you to remove the upgrade icon and
the upgrade reminders (nags) that annoy some Windows 7 & 8x users, is GWX
Control Panel (available free
from here).
If you want to take care of the problem yourself without
installing a program, here is how you can do it:
1. Open Control
Panel ---> Programs, on the left click View installed updates. Look for KB
2952664. Also look for KB 3035583. If you find one or both of them click
on it, and click Uninstall. (Here's a click the column heading to sort
alphabetically/numerically it will make it much easier to find them),
2.
Restart your computer (Windows will prompt you to reboot). Be patient as it may
take a lot longer than usual to reboot.
3. As soon as your computer has
rebooted, you'll need to permanently disable the GWX patches. Go to Control
Panel, Windows Update and hide KB 2952664, and/or KB 3035583. To hide them, run
Search for Updates, right-click on the item and choose "Hide".
4. Just to
be sure, restart your computer again., reboot again.
All that being said, we have found most Windows 7 users don't have many problems
getting used to Windows 10. We have found also that most Windows 7 users choose
to keep the Windows 10 start menu as opposed to installing a Windows 7-style
start menu.
Windows 10 is the most user
configurable Windows ever. We
can make Windows 10 look very much like Windows 7.
And finally if you choose to stick with Windows 7 - good news: Microsoft
will continue to support Windows 7 until January 2020 - so you have over three
and a half years to use Windows 7 safely.

Stephen is having problems with Windows 10 updates
First I appreciate all you guys do, thank you. I have a problem about
windows update, the last few times an update was supposed to complete it stopped
The update includes Windows Defender, which I've disabled, so the update keeps
stopping & not finishing. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
Our answer
Hi Stephen. Thank you! Windows
Updates have been problematical for a long time. Windows 7 seemed to have a lot
of problems with Windows Updates. We have not found them to be so much of a
problem with Windows 10... but they can and do occur.
Here's something
simple you can try that may make your Windows Update work correctly, or at least
help you past the problems you are having.
1. Click Start ---> Settings
(or press Windows Key + i and press Enter).
2. Click on Update & Security
3. Click on Windows Update
4. Click on Advanced Options

In the Advanced Options dialog, click on "Choose how updates are delivered"
(see below):

In the "Choose how updates are delivered dialog, turn the switch under "When
this is turned on..." and tick the circle next to "PCs on my network and PCs on
the internet." See the screen shot below:

After you have made these changes, restart your computer, then open Windows
Updates and try updating your computer again. If all goes well you can re-set
the "Choose how updates are delivered" back to its defaults (turned off).
Hope this helps you, Stephen.

Dawn doesn't like the search feature in Windows 10
You
may have covered this before and if so I must have missed it. But what I would
like to know in Windows 10 is the search feature. It is as useless as anything I
have ever used---unless I am missing how to do it better? The search on Windows
8 was a million times better and at least found my stuff. Not this Window
10-wants to do web search when I want a hard drive search. Hope I make sense.
Thanks for all your super info and awesome features like Emsisoft!
Our
answer
Hi Dawn. Thanks for your kind comments. Windows 10 has a great search
feature, but it does take a little getting use to - and a little bit of user
configuration to customize it. Since you don't want Web results shown in your
computer searches, we'll show you how to do that - and we'll show you how to
leave both Web search and local (your computer) search both turned and choose to
bet only local (your PC) results, only Web results, or both.
OK. We're
going to show you how to turn of all the Web search and Cortana in Windows 10.
Press Windows Key + S (hold down the Windows Key and press the S key) to
open Search. When search opens click on the Gear icon on the left side. See the
image below - the settings button (Gear icon) is outlined in red:

Search Settings will open. Turn off Cortana and turn off "Search online and
include Web results". You can turn "Device search history" off or leave it on
your choice.

After you've made these changes, you'll see "Search Windows" at the bottom
From now on, when you search for something, it will only search your computer -
not the web.

But wait, there's more. What if you want to search your
computer and the web, just the web or just your computer? You can do that too.
With Search set at default, type in a search term... see below:

Near the bottom, you'll see "My stuff" and "Web". If you just want to search
your computer, click "My stuff". If you want to search only the web, click on
"Web" and if you want to search both, type in your search term and press Enter.
In the example below, I just wanted to search my computer for word
"carbs" and, as you can see, a list of documents on my computer with the word
"carb" in them appear in the list - no web search included.

You'll get list of results that come only from your computer.
Windows 10
continues impress us with its configurability - you can make Windows 10 work the
way you want it to - and the Search feature is just one example of this.
Hope this helps you, Dawn.

Managing Bookmarks In Chrome
All Chrome users
Chrome –
you either love it or you hate it, but one thing you can’t deny, it’s
the most popular browser right now. There’s a good chance you either use
it as your default browser or you have it installed on your computer and
you have at least tried it.
There’s a lot to cover as far as tips
for Chrome. Today, though, we’re going to concentrate on Chrome
Bookmarks and Chrome’s Bookmark Manager.
For those of you who
don’t use Chrome or don’t use it very much – Chrome does not have a
toolbar, you know the thing at the top of most browsers and programs
that says “File” “Edit” “View” “Tools” “Help” and the like. The reason
it does not is to give you the biggest possible viewing area when you’re
looking or shopping or reading on the Web.
Instead of a toolbar,
Chrome has a settings icon…and everything that’s normally on a toolbar
can be found by clicking on the settings icon – which as you can see
below, looks like three horizontal lines. See?

When you click on the settings icon (above) you see a menu (below):

All of Chrome’s functions can be found here – but a great many of them
are hiding behind “Settings” on the menu above – which is like a very
extensive toolbar. But today, we’re just going to look at Bookmarks and
the Bookmarks Manager.
When you click on Bookmarks in the menu,
you’ll see several options, the two we are covering today are “Import
bookmarks and settings”. If you want to import your Internet Explorer or
Firefox bookmarks into Chrome, this is how you do it. It only takes a
few second and all your IE favorites and/or Firefox bookmarks are
imported into Chrome. You can also use this to export your Chrome
bookmarks to an HTML file that can be read by any browser.

Also, by clicking on Bookmarks in the menu, you can access the Chrome
Bookmark manager. This is where all your bookmarks (favorites) can be
found. So go ahead, click on Bookmarks in the drop down menu and then
Bookmark manager (see below):

When you open the Bookmark Manager you will see all of your bookmarks
(called favorites in IE and Edge). They are all in alphabetical order
(with a couple of exceptions). See below:

You can remove bookmarks here or you can add
them to your Bookmarks bar on Chrome.
To display the bookmarks
bar, click on the settings icon, click on Settings, and tick “Always
show the bookmarks bar”. See?

We hope this helps those of you who are not familiar with Chrome
bookmarks, bookmarks bar, and bookmarks manager. And for those of you
who do, this is a refresher, right?
Visit this page to read "Managing Bookmarks in Firefox"
And visit this page to read "Working With Favorites in Windows 10" .

Add familiar folders to your Windows 10 Start menu
Windows 10
If you are use to using Windows 7, you’re probably
wondering where things like Pictures, Documents, Network, Download, Music, etc.
are on your Windows 10 Start menu. They’re not there. At least they’re not there
by default. But we going to show you how to add them – and it’s as easy as
flipping a switch – literally!
Press the Windows Key plus i to open
settings (you can also click the Start Button, then Settings)
Click on
Personalization
Click on Start

Click on ” Choose which folders appear on Start”.

Slide the switches for the folders you want to appear on the Start menu to ”
ON ”

The folders you “switched on” will now appear on your Start menu. However,
if you add a lot of folders to your Start menu, you may find that your Start
menu is too short to show all of the folders you added. So, you might want to
make your Start menu taller. No problem. Just grab the top edge of the Windows
10 Start menu with your mouse and pull it up.

See? Look up! You can see I added Documents, Downloads, and Network to m
Start menu.
Pretty cool stuff, right EB?

How to Change Your Downloads Folder
Windows
7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
By default, when you download a file in Chrome,
Firefox, Internet Explorer, Edge or most any other browser, your files
will be downloaded to your default Downloads folder. On Windows 7,
Windows 8x and Windows 10, your default Downloads folder location is:
C:\Users\Your Windows User Name\Downloads
But what if you want
have a secondary hard drive or an external hard drive and you want to
download to one of them? What if you’re the kind of person who likes
things simple. You want your download folder where you can find it
really easily – where it’s almost always in site. Maybe you want to
create a downloads folder on your desktop.
If you use Chrome,
Firefox, or Internet Explorer, it’s easy to change the default download
folder. Microsoft Edge requires you change the properties of the
download folder itself or use a registry hack, so we’re not going to
cover Edge in this article.
Here’s how to change the default
download folder in Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer:
Chrome
Chrome is probably the easiest browser as
far as changing your download location.
Click
the Settings button at the top right of the browser (it looks like 3
horizontal lines) and then click “Settings” in the menu. See below:

Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the Settings menu and click
“Show advanced settings…”

Now scroll down the “advanced settings” dialog to the “Downloads” folder
and click Change. Scroll to the new download folder you want to use, or
scroll to the location where you want to download to and click “Make new
folder” and give it a name. Chrome will change your default download
location to whatever drive and folder you select. You can see in the
example below that I’ve chosen a folder on my F:\ drive (External)
called “Downloads”. From now on, when I download a file using Chrome, it
will download to F:\Downloads.

Firefox
First make sure you have “Menu” selected on
Firefox. If you don’t see a menu bar at the top (File Edit View etc.) at
top of Firefox, right click anywhere at the very top of Firefox (not on
an icon) and check “Menu bar”. On the Firefox menu bar click
Tools–>Options—>General tab.
In the General tab, you’ll see
Downloads. With “Save files to” selected, click the “Browse” button:

Look at the image below. When I clicked “Browse” above, I browsed to
my desktop and clicked “Make a new folder” and created a folder called
“Downloads On My Desktop”. From now on when I download a file in Firefox
it will be saved on my Desktop in the folder called “Downloads On My
Desktop”. You can, of course, use this folder for Chrome and Internet
Explorer downloads as well.

Internet Explorer
Click on the Gear icon (circled in
yellow below) and then click “View downloads” or just click Ctrl + J.

When the “View Downloads” dialog opens, click on “Options” at the
bottom:

You’ll see the Download Options dialog appear. Click on Browse and
browse to the drive and folder to which you want Internet Explorer to
save your downloads.

Below: I chose my F:\ drive (External) and a folder that I
created called “I.E. Downloads” – and that’s where Internet Explorer
will save my downloaded files. This does not affect Firefox’s or
Chrome’s default download folders.

And that’s it. Now you can take control of your download
location whether you use Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer – all three.
Yes, EB? What about Microsoft Edge? What about
it? Oh. Edge users...sorry. You have to change the properties of
the download folder (which affects other programs) or use a registry
hack which we will get into another time.

A Quick Way to Uninstall Apps and Programs in Windows 10
Windows 10
You remember the old days, right EB?
Back in Windows XP, Windows Vista, and even Windows 7, if you wanted to
uninstall a program you had to open Control Panel / Programs / Uninstall
a program and then wait for Windows to load up the list of programs
installed on your computer. Remember? Yawn.
Well, good news.
Finally something that makes so much sense it makes you wonder why it
took Microsoft nine iterations of Windows to figure it out? OK...let's
call it eight.
Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows
XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7...in
all of those you had to open Control Panel to get to programs to
uninstall a program. But no more I tells ya!
Open up your Windows 10 Start menu, click
on "All apps" and scroll down until you find a
program or app you want to uninstall. And right-click on it and choose
"Uninstall". That's how easy it is to uninstall a program in Windows 10
Yes, EB, a good way
to tell if you should uninstall something is if you go through your
start menu saying "what's that?", "I don't remember installing that!",
"What the heck is that doing on my computer?". Any of those programs are
candidates for removal. But you can remove anything you want.
That's not important. What is important is, you don't have to go to
Control Panel anymore to relieve yourself of programs you do not want.
Just go through your Start menu, find the app or program you want to
remove, right-click it and choose Uninstall...see?

Oh yes, if you are fussy you can use Geek Uninstaller or Revo
Uninstaller; both work very well on Windows 10.

Emsisoft: What it is and what it replaces
Windows 7,
Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
We sing Emsisoft's praises a lot - and for good
reason. No security software program or suite protects you better than Emsisoft.
But apparently some of you are confused about what Emsisoft replaces so we're
going to sum it up for you and short and sweet and concise as we can. (I know
most of you don't believe I can be concise or short, and certainly not sweet,
but just you watch!)
Emsisoft Anti-Malware replaces:
1. Your
antivirus program
2. Your antimalware program (if you have one)
3. Your
anti-spyware program (if you have one)
What this means to you is you
don't need to be running two or three programs to try to do an end run around
all the malware on the Internet. It does not work; more is not better. We've
found computers with 2 or 3 antivirus/antimalware/antispyware programs installed
that were full of malware...so trying to use every security program you can find
to keep your computer safe does not work.
Using Emsisoft to replace one,
two or three security programs (or whatever you have) just makes good sense. Not
only are you protected from viruses, Trojans, scamware, ransomware, PUPs, and
other forms of malware, your computer's performance isn't bogged down by having
unnecessary programs running - and some security software use a lot of resources
-- and that's another thing: Emsisoft is light on resources.
So what does
Emsisoft replace? It replaces all your security programs including antivirus
programs, antispyware programs, and antimalware programs. Install Emsisoft and
you're protected. And that's that.
What it does not replace is your good
common sense. Use common sense and along with Emsisoft and that's all the
protection you will ever need.
See? I can be short and concise, I tells
ya!
If want to know more about Emsisoft and/or protect your computer with Emsisoft
visit our Emsisoft page here.
And don't forget...
We can clean-up your computer, remove your old antivirus/antivirus security
suite, install and configure Emsisoft for you, all for one low price.

An Ancient Soul
I was seventeen-years-old and
one of my best friends at the time told me I had an ancient soul. He told me I
came from another time and another place. At the time I found it off-putting; I
didn't take it as a compliment. I tried to find a different soul and chose a
lifestyle of which I'm not proud. I did things then that were contrary to
everything I knew to be right and good. I battled my ancient soul because I
hated being different.
I'm far past seventeen now
and I've become comfortable with my ancient soul. I find peace and comfort in
the little pleasures of life: a good book, watching the greening of spring,
listening to the wind and imagining sailing on a vast ocean without a
destination, or just watching people pass by. I never really fit in when I was
seventeen and it made me uncomfortable then but it does not make me
uncomfortable now.
I see the world differently than others see it. I
sometimes withdraw too far into myself and don't often give good people a
chance. I have many faults - an ancient soul offers no protection from making
mistakes or making misguided decisions.
Sometimes I'm the ancient mariner
or the town crier or a baker of bread in a small colonial town. Most of the time
though, I spend observing the behavior of people as they hurry from somewhere to
somewhere else, and I am bewildered. People texting, taking pictures of
themselves and others, updating their social networking pages or tweeting about
some new coffee-based drink at Starbucks. They're connected 24/7 -- and seem so
lost when they're not connected. I wonder what can possibly be so great about
being connected to someone, sometimes anyone, all the time.
Why is
anything new, good, and everything old, bad? I just don't understand it. And I
don't think I ever will. In order to supply us with all things new, the Earth is
plundered and human beings exploited. The factories in China are alive with the
sounds of misery and sadness, with the sounds of twelve-year-old children
working fourteen-hour days, with the sounds of fathers and mothers working for
$2.00 a day to make your next pair of $200 running shoes...

PaperPlane
For Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
2.6 MB Zip File
Desktop Organize - Makes your Windows desktop look
sort of like a iPad
We know a lot of you have iPads and
almost all of you have Windows. What would you think if you could make Windows
work like (sort of) like an iPad. Well, if you don't have a touch screen the
experience will not be as much "iPad-like" as those of you who have touch
screens. If you have a touch screen laptop or desktop, you'll get a real
iPad-like experience.
Well, here, we'll show you. iPad or Windows?

Yep! It's Windows. Windows 10 in this case. The name of the program
that makes this iPad-like change is called PaperPlane. And you don't need
Windows 10 to use it. The developer says that PaperPlane will work on Windows
XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. To be
honest, we only tested it on Windows 10 with a touch screen. Your experience may
vary. The nice thing is you can turn PaperPlane off or on by double-clicking the
desktop.

What about the developer? What does he (or
she) have to say? Well here, listen up!
"...Quick Access
A simple double-click on the
original desktop will call the new desktop for you, with all the apps sequenced
by frequency of use so that you can quickly access the ones you use most.
Easy Organize
With its folder grouping and multi-desktop feature, you
can easily organize your apps, files, website URLs, or games in various folders
or desktops any way you like.
Fully Customizable
PaperPlane gives
you great freedom to customize your new desktop in a way that is just right for
you. You can customize the icons, the layout, the background, the animation, and
more..."
It's unlike us not to ramble on and on and on about something, but
in this case you can see what PaperPlane does. And it's highly configurable so
you can add or remove icons from it, change the size and number of icons, change
the number of rows and the number of icons in each row, define borders and all
that good stuff. See?

PaperPlane is completely
free and the comes as a zip file. The installer contains no malware or PUPs (as
of 30 March 2016).
OK well that's it. Oh yes, almost forgot. You'll need to know where to go to read
more about PaperPlane and where you can download it. Sure thing. You can read
more about and/or download PaperPlane from here.

About that new email address of
yours...
Several times in the past week alone, we have
had someone write us to change their email address and they use their
old address (that is, the one that's not working anymore) to write us.
When we reply to tell them how to do the address change, the mail
bounces because their old email address is not working.
So
today's Back to Basics is about changing your email address for your
subscriptions. When doing an address change, most places will not do it
for you when you write them; most systems are automated, especially
newsletters and any kind of database or site you log in to, so look for
address change right on the newsletter (usually at the very bottom) or
log in to the site and look for profile information and change address.
Also, when you have a new email address, make sure the first address
you change is your Reply To address in your email program. If you leave
your old address as the Reply To address, people will get a bounce
message when writing to you and you won't get their email. Make sure
your Reply To address is your new email address and not your old one.
