What to do if you didn't receive your newsletter
If you didn't receive a particular
issue listed here, you should check any spam filters you might have,
or check with your ISP to see why the didn't deliver your newsletter
to you. We can only send your newsletter, we cannot guarantee your
ISP will deliver it to you. Many ISPs, use arbitrary content
filtering, which means, simply, that their spam filters delete email
which contains certain content. Content that can cause ISPs to
censor your incoming mail include certain words (perhaps "spyware",
"virus", "Trojan", "hijacker", etc.) certain colors of text, or
phrases such as "click here"," special price", etc.). This kind of
spam filtering borders on censorship. In our newsletter we routinely
deal with subjects like Trojans, hijackers, viruses, etc. And while
we try to avoid certain phrases like "special pricing" or "click
here" we sometimes forget and include these phrases as a matter of
course. We don't think ISPs have the right to meddle with your email
for any reason - if an email is addressed to you, it should be
delivered to you and you should be the one to determine whether it
is spam or not - not your ISP. But we're not going to change the way
the world is, we have to live in it just like you. So, if you're not
receiving your newsletter after we've sent it to you, there can be
only two reasons - you have spam filtering software installed an it
is deleting it - in which case you need to configure your spam
filtering software to allow our newsletter, or, your ISP is not
delivering your newsletter to you, in which case you need to contact
your ISP and discuss this situation with them. Please remember, if
your ISP is delivering some newsletters but not all newsletters from
us, this is indicative of "content filtering" (censorship) and you
need to address this with your ISP.
